Each year students successfully graduate from high school, many with high honors and academic acclaim. Yet despite their success many hit a brick wall. They are unable to fulfill their goal of continuing academic excellence. Their immigration status creates barriers to pursuing post-secondary educational opportunities such as attending colleges, universities, institutes of technology or trade, or other.

Many of these students are not able to apply for federal funding for colleges and universities or secure private scholarships that use Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as the basis for awarding funding.
